Characters from the iconic comic strip Peanuts were recently fashioned into the form of vinyl toys by Medicom Toy. Snoopy, Woodstock, and of course Charlie Brown are now all available in handheld editions of the recognizable figures. The whole collection toy will be available for ￥3,990 (approximately $50 USD).

Nokia is debuting its venture into the Windows Phone with its first WP7-powered phones, The Lumia 800 and 710. The 800 is considered the brand’s flagship phone and features a 3.7″ AMOLED screen, 1.4GHz processor, 16GBs of storage and an 8 MP camera. The 710 will include the same screen processor, except with 8GBs of storage and a 5 MP camera. Working through Windows Phone, the touchscreen will allow you to navigate quickly through Microsoft Office Mobile, Internet Explorer 9, and other Windows-based programs. Both the Lumia 800 and 710 are available for pre-order on Nokia’s website.

Luxury automaker turned industrial design brand Porsche Design has announced its first smartphone alongsideResearch in Motion. The BlackBerry P’9981 offers superior engineering and performance encapsulated within a forged stainless-steel frame with leather accenting. A unique PIN for each device helps P’9981 users identify one another. Porsche’s iconic style is clear in this gadget, which is being labeled a landmark in it’s design history; epitomizing the idea that form equals function.
